The locking assembly (also called clamping set, shaft locking device, clamping element) is a keyless connection device. Its principle and purpose is to generate a huge clamping force between the inner ring and the shaft, and between the outer ring and the hub through the action of high-strength tension bolts to achieve a keyless connection between the machine and the shaft. When subjected to load, the torque, axial force or the combined load of the two is transmitted by the combined pressure of the expansion sleeve, the machine and the shaft and the friction generated. The expansion sleeve connection has the following main advantages: high centering accuracy; easy installation/adjustment/disassembly; high strength, stable and reliable connection; it can protect the equipment from damage when overloaded, and is especially suitable for transmitting heavy loads. It is widely used in heavy machinery, wind power generation, packaging machinery, printing machinery, CNC machine tools, automation equipment and other fields.
